Uses

This combination drug Vytorin or Vitorin is used with a proper diet to reduce “bad” cholesterol and fat (like LDL, triglycerides) and increase blood “good” cholesterol (HDL) in the blood. Ezetimibe works by reducing the amount of cholesterol your body absorbs from your diet. Simvastatin is related to a group of drugs called “statins”.
