Uses
Micardis or Telmisartan is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Reducing hypertension helps in preventing stroke, heart attack and kidney problems. Micardis belongs to a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs). It works by resting the blood vessels so that the blood flows more easily.
How to use Micardis
If you start taking Micardis or Telmisartan and you get a refill every time, read the patient information sheet before you are available from your pharmacist. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Directly medicate this medicine with your mouth or without food, usually daily once.
Dosage is based on your medical condition and treatment response.
Use Micardis regularly to get the most benefit. To help you remember, take it at the same time every day. It is important to continue taking this medicine even if you feel OK. Most people with high blood pressure do not feel sick. For the treatment of hypertension, you can take up to 4 weeks to get the full benefit of this drug.

Side Effects

Precautions
Before taking Micardis or telmisartan, tell your doctor or pharmacist whether you are allergic to it; Or if you have any other allergens. This product can have passive elements, which can cause allergic or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.

Missed Dose
