Prochlorperazine

Uses

This drug is used for the treatment of severe nausea and vomiting for some reasons (for example, after surgery or cancer treatment). Prochlorperazine is related to a class of medicines known as phenothiazines.

This medication is not recommended for children under 2 years of age or in children undergoing surgery.

How To Use Prochlorperazine Maleate

Take this medicine with or without mouth directed by your doctor, usually 3 to 4 times daily.

Dosage is based on the reaction of your age, medical condition and treatment. In children, the dosage may also be on the basis of weight. Do not increase your dose or take this medicine more often than directed.

Side Effects
